For many years my children have not gone to school. They learn at home. I am a mum and a teacher to them, but most of all a friend. It’s a process… Sometimes something grates, something gets lapped up… We form a small community, a family. This is empowering and at the same time the interaction, the constant tangents create distortions in us. Our worlds intermingle. I have the chance to awaken my childishness and forget my role as a mother when I mingle with my children and explore the world with them. They have the opportunity to accompany me close to my adulthood. The dialogue between us is ongoing.
We live in a space and time that belongs exclusively to us. We move in the orbits of our fascinations, longings, expectations, weaknesses, disappointments and joys. We create a space-time on earth filled with experimentation, following the images of our imaginations and experiencing ordinary human intimacy.
